One Day Women’s Retreat — Sat., September 25^th

Our women’s prayer group, SPEAK (Sisters Praying Encouraging and Aspiring to Know God) faithfully invites all women to attend our upcoming retreat.  Father Godfrey Andoh and members of our prayer group will be presenting Filled with Grace:  Understanding and Living the Gifts of the Holy Spirit.  It will be held Saturday, Sept. 25^th from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm at Blessed Seelos Church.  The retreat is free to attend.  Breakfast and lunch will be provided.  For more information please contact Cherie Prentiss at 228-365-4017 or cmprentiss@att.net or Amiee Gautreaux at 337-296-5987 or Gautreaux7family@yahoo.com.

CCD REGISTRATION AND CLASSES TO BE HELD AT NATIVITY

Registration and information for CCD grades K through 11^th will be held Wednesday, Sept. 8^th from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm at Nativity’s Sacred Heart Parish Life Center (behind the church.)

We ask that parents join us at the beginning of the 1^st class to go over plans for the year.

Classes begin on Wednesday, Sept. 15^th from 5:30pm – 6:30pm.

If you would like to volunteer to teach CCD, please call  Bunny Thompson at 228-233-5400.  We would love to have you join this vital learning ministry for our youth!

The program is an excellent way for anyone, even “cradle Catholics,” to renew and come to a fuller understanding of their faith.

** The RCIA team will meet on Sunday, August 8^th after the 8:30 am Mass in the Mercy House.  If you are interested in joining the RCIA team, please come to the meeting!

We are in need of  a “cleaning crew” to clean our church.  At the moment, the month of August is open.  A crew usually consists of four to five people and that group is responsible for cleaning the church for a month.  Please call the office if you are able to help.

The Cursillo Drawdown and Silent Auction will be held on September 11, 2021, at 6:00 pm, at Sacred Heart Church in Pascagoula. There will be 30 Drawings of $100 and the final draw for $5,000.
