Assistance Needed for Long Time Parishioner

We have a long time parishioner in need of help with various home repairs. Any donation of time, skills, or services would be a tremendous blessing. Tasks such as cleaning, painting, and replacing tile are just a few examples of the work needed.

If you feel called to assist or would like more information, please contact the parish office. Your generosity and willingness to serve are deeply appreciated. Many hands make light work.

WE EXPRESS OUR GRATITUDE TO YOU!

We would like to extend our gratitude to all our parishioners who donated food for this year’s Thanksgiving outreach. Because of your kindness and generosity, many families were able to enjoy a warm and abundant Thanksgiving meal. Your willingness to share your blessings truly reflects the love and compassion of Christ within our parish community. May God continue to bless you and your families for your generosity and your hearts of service.

OFFICE CLOSED

The Church Office will be closed in observance of the Thanksgiving Holidays on November 27th and 28th.

Special Collection Nov 15/16 – Catholic Campaign for Human Development

There will be a special collection this weekend for the Catholic Campaign for Human Development. Please be generous in your support.

The Catholic Campaign for Human Development is the national anti-poverty program of the U.S. Catholic Bishops, working to carry out the mission of Jesus Christ “… to bring glad tidings to the poor …  liberty to captives …  sight to the blind, and let the oppressed go free.” (Luke 4:18)

The belief that those who are directly affected by unjust systems and structures have the best insight into knowing how to change them is central to CCHD. CCHD works to break the cycle of poverty by helping low-income people participate in decisions that affect their lives, families and communities. CCHD offers a hand up, not a hand out.

What do you see?

Lucy Flores, the wife of Deacon Edgar Flores, captured this image during Adoration, and it certainly warrants a closer examination. Please direct your attention to the area situated midway between the crucifix and the monstrance.

There’s been open discussions on our Facebook post where many report seeing different things.
