National Pink Prayer Day

As part of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month to honor breast cancer patients and survivors and the people who love them.

Ananias (of Damascus) Program

Jesus calls us into a deep love relationship, and we are called to bring others to him. As Catholic Christians, we are to be a people of prayer who are in an active relationship with God. We are also called to be a people of the Word of God, who read the Word of God daily, and who take the Word to heart so that it is expressed in our daily lives – the Word that is Jesus Christ.

The Ananias Program is a 2-Day program that will be offered from 6-8 p.m. on Friday evening, October 14th  and from 9 am – 4 p.m. on Saturday, October 15th.  Mass will follow at 4:00 pm at Blessed Seelos.  For further information, please contact Deacon Richard Smith at (228) 313-9417 or Deacon M.J. OCTOBER – DEDICATION TO THE MOST HOLY ROSARY

This is to honor the Blessed Virgin Mary in gratitude for the protection that she gives the Church in answer to the praying of the Rosary by the faithful.  We will continue to pray the rosary before every Mass.

2022 LUMEN CHRISTI AWARD

Congratulations to Tha Thi Nguyen for receiving this year’s Lumen Christi (“Light of Christ”) medal.  This award is presented to those who have been outstanding in their service in their parishes.  The medals will be presented at the Cathedral on Saturday, September 24th at the 4 pm Mass.  The ceremony is open to the public.

TIME CAPSULE BURIAL CEREMONY

Come join us next Sunday, September 18th for Mass and our parish Time Capsule Burial Ceremony!  Our time capsule will include pictures, letters, bulletins, etc. to be unearthed in 25 years!!  We will also have a fellowship breakfast in the parish hall.

SPEAK Retreat- St. Michaels

Saturday, Sept. 24th      8 am until 6 pm

St. Michael Church – Parish Hall

Our SPEAK (Sisters Praying Encouraging and Aspiring to Know God) prayer group will be hosting an all-day Retreat. Come and join us on a journey as we explore the Book of Jeremiah.  This retreat will be open to both women and men. In addition to our guest speakers,  you will have the opportunity to participate in Adoration and Confession as well as 5 pm Mass. The retreat is free to attend.  Registration is required.
