** FOOD DONATIONS NEEDED **:  We are in need of donated items for the Lenten fish dinners, please look at the sign-up sheet in the back of church.  Every week there will be requests for different items.  Your donations are greatly appreciated and help make these dinners a success for our parish!  Our Lenten dinners are on the following

Fridays:  March 7^th, 14^th, 21^st, 28^th April 4^th and 11^th from 4:30 pm until 6:30 pm.

The cost is $15 a plate. 

We are in need of volunteers to help with our Lenten dinners!  It takes a tremendous amount of help to make everything run smoothly!  This is one of our biggest fundraisers for our parish, and thanks to our volunteers, it is very successful! Please come and help support your parish!   “Many hands make light work!”

There are 3 ways to receive the Jubilee Indulgence seen as a gift of grace specific to this holy year:

1.   Make a Pious Pilgrimage

•  Pious Visits to Sacred Places

•  Works of Mercy and Penance

With all three, the faithful must be purified by the Sacrament of Reconciliation, be refreshed by Holy Communion, and pray for the intentions of the Holy Father, Pope Francis (1 Our Father & 1 Hail Mary).  For more information, please pick up a brochure in the back of church.

During our festival in March (CURRENTLY POSTPONED), we will have a Tombola, which is a bingo / raffle game in which numbered tickets are drawn at random with numbered prizes are awarded to the matching tickets!

We will begin collecting items for our Tombola!  We are asking for new gifts & items in the $10 – $15 price range that can be used as prizes. Your help is greatly appreciated!  For more information, please call the office.

We will have a Special Collection the weekend of Feb. 15^th & 16^th to help with initial costs of our parish Lenten dinners.  Please be generous in your support.  Thank you!  Our parish Lenten dinners begin Friday, March 7^th.

Father in heaven, may the faith you have given us in your son, Jesus Christ, our brother, and the flame of charity enkindled in our hearts by the Holy Spirit, reawaken in us the blessed hope for the coming of your Kingdom.May your grace transform us into tireless cultivators of the seeds of the Gospel. May those seeds transform from within both humanity and the whole cosmos in the sure expectation of a new heaven and a new earth, when, with the powers of evil vanquished, your glory will shine eternally. May the grace of the Jubilee reawaken in us, Pilgrims of Hope, a yearning for the treasures of heaven. May that same grace spread the joy and peace of our Redeemer throughout the earth. To you our God, eternally blessed, be glory and praise for ever.
