A plenary indulgence is granted to the faithful, applicable only to the souls in purgatory, who, on any and each day from November 1 to 8, devoutly visit a cemetery and pray, if only mentally, for the departed; on All Soul’s Day (or according to the judgement of the ordinary, on the Sunday preceding or following it, or on the solemnity of All Saints) devoutly visit a church or an oratory and recite an Our Father and the Creed. To acquire a plenary indulgence, it is necessary to perform the work to which the indulgence is attached and to fulfill three conditions: sacramental confession, Eucharistic Communion and prayer for the intentions of the Supreme Pontiff. (Manual of Indulgences 29)

All Souls Day is November 2^nd.  If you would like to have remembrance prayers said for deceased loved ones or friends, please fill out the “All Souls” (November 2^nd) envelope provided in your offertory envelopes.  List the names on the back of the envelope.  You may place the envelopes in the collection.  There are extra envelopes in the back of church.  The envelopes will be kept on the altar for the month of November.

Thanksgiving will be celebrated on Thursday, November 27, 2025, and we are collecting food donations to help provide Thanksgiving dinners for families in need. If you’re able to give, please consider donating non-perishable food items from now until Sunday November 23. Every contribution helps make the holiday brighter for others.
